Abigail Percy Designer Jewellery

Image
via abigailpercy.bigcartel.com I really love Abigail Percy's work and have been coveting a piece for absolutely years now. She makes gorgeous jewellery using sillhouettes of leaves and and flowers finished with semi precious stones and pearls. The Anemone Leaf and Smokey Quartz Cluster Necklace is one of my favourites. Check out her website. Posted via web from ephemerette's posterous

Iced gem bird illustration - tweet!

Image
via etsy.com I really like Kate Wilson's little bird drawings, cute and whimsical and very slightly mad. Quite excited to find out Paperchase now sell her cards, looks like lots of people are going to get a little birdy for their bithdays this year. Posted via web from ephemerette's posterous

The Scarlet Hotel Cornwall

Image
Given the choice of holidaying in the UK or hopping on a plane to somewhere foreign and exciting I'm usually down the latter route every time, however I've been unable to kick day dreaming about visiting the Scarlet in Cornwall to lounge about watching the waves crash down the beach and hunker down to a bit of luxurious peaceful quiet time, bliss. I haven't really found many scents that I love, and have been on a quest for years to find something which smells 'like me, but better' rather than plasticky flowers, or something 'nice' which evaporates, leaving nothing behind within an hour. Florian, the very sweet and very French boy working at the Malle concession spritzed a little of it into me and then something extraordinary happened. I breathed in, and.... it felt like coming home.  I was enveloped by a deep warm blanket of fragrance, my pulse quickened just a little, it smelt delicious.  I smelt delicious. I wondered off for drinks with a friend after that as despite its allure I ...

Malene's House

Image
Designer Malene Birger's house in Copenhagen. I'm really taken with the simple bright palette and glamorous detailing (not to mention that rail of to-die-for coats). This is precisely the feel I'm looking to get in my own rather smaller and currently much less glamorous home. It's all fabulous, but it looks comfortable and lived in, not overly styled to the point where one might damage the aesthetic, simply by living in it. images: skona hem
