sunshine pop


I seem to have developed a strange affinity with yellow things recently - never really liked the colour much before, but somehow from nowhere I'm drawn to lemony hues, I'm even considering wearing it which is frankly unheard of, I wonder why? Anyway I really like the pops of sunshine dotted around this apartment. Used sparingly in an otherwise fairly monochrome palette it's chic, but still fun.

    Lately I am loving a little lemon pop as well...both in accessories and interiors, these are lovely!

a break

I've been away in a pretty little seaside town for what I hoped would be a relaxing weekend with friends but for various reasons turned out to be less so. Unfortunately you can't always enforce serenity just because you're on holiday, but I do find watching the sea is always quite a meditative experience so here's a quick snap I took as a sliver of blue sky snuck through the gloomy clouds which were lurking about for most of the weekend.
