I was admiring my friend L's homemade necklace the other day. She'd found a beautiful pair of vintage pocket watch keys in a charity shop and threaded them onto a long chain to make a pretty and unusual pendant. I thought I'd have a little look around Ebay to see if I might find any equally pretty keys for a similar project when I stumbled across, and promptly bought this beautiful (and working!) fob watch necklace by Fallen Angel .  They specialise in creating vintage inspired hand made jewellery and seem to have a bit of an obsession with Alice in Wonderland themed necklaces. I must admit I never really think to look for jewellery on Ebay, I tend to go to Etsy if I'm looking for something handmade or quirky, but judging by how many of Fallen Angel's pieces I've earmarked for possible Christmas gifts, clearly I might have been missing a trick.

I'm bowled over by these exquisite rings designed by Italian designer Arosha Luigi Taglia. having done a little digging it seems Arosha's a multi-discipline designer with lines in art, sculpture and interior products as well as making beautiful baubles like this. Been pootling about on line to find an appropriate birthday present for a girlfriend and rediscovered Red Direct today, then promptly fell in love with about a hundred things. I developed a wee obsession with the Eiffel tower lamp featured in the photo I posted recently when I talked about organising a proper work space at home. As a result I have trawled high and low for a similar lamp but sadly, have come up empty handed. However did find a few other Eiffel tower themed goodies when I was nosing around on etsy. Having enjoyed the scantest bit of glorious sun in between mean grey skies and rain over the past few days, I've been thinking about how nice it'll be when it finally gets to a stage where I can go to work without being swaddled in a hundred layers. My current working wardrobe consists of various dresses worn over a fine long length cashmere jumpers, at least two pairs of tights, cardigans, boots, scarf's  gloves the list goes on and on. I've been having a little play with Polyvore to design a little set of how I intend to be dressing once that temperature dial stars rising. Although I do work in an office environment, I'm lucky that the organisation I work for is relaxed when it comes to formal dress codes, I'd find it unbearable to get suited, booted and buttoned up every day like friends I have in other industries. She makes gorgeous jewellery using sillhouettes of leaves and and flowers finished with semi precious stones and pearls. The Anemone Leaf and Smokey Quartz Cluster Necklace is one of my favourites.
